A Legacy of Outdoor Furniture Craftsmanship
The experience behind Skyway Terrace began in 1990 with a small, hands-on patio furniture cleaning and refinishing operation in Palmetto, Florida.
While restoring furniture for resorts and commercial properties, founder and lead designer Carl Buhr saw how quickly ordinary outdoor furniture could deteriorate under Florida’s intense sun, humidity, rain and coastal conditions. He recognized the need for better-built furniture that could withstand challenging environments without sacrificing comfort or appearance.
That experience eventually led the business from furniture restoration into designing and manufacturing its own commercial-grade outdoor furniture. The manufacturing operation was formally incorporated in 2005, building on the craftsmanship and practical knowledge developed through years of restoration work.
Today, Skyway Terrace continues that tradition by offering outdoor furniture designed around quality materials, dependable construction and long-term usability.

Sling Fabric Replacement
If the frame remains in good condition but the sling fabric has become worn, stretched or damaged, replacement slings may offer a practical solution.
Our team removes the existing material and installs newly prepared sling fabric sized for the furniture. Customers can select from available sling colors and patterns to give older furniture an updated appearance.
Patio Furniture and Umbrella Repair
* Our repair services address common problems with outdoor furniture and patio umbrellas.
Depending on the condition of the product, services may include frame welding, hardware replacement, tabletop replacement, and patio umbrella repair.
Vinyl Strap Replacement
Worn, faded or damaged vinyl straps do not always mean the entire chair or chaise lounge needs to be replaced.
Our team can remove old straps and install new commercial-grade vinyl strapping using durable fastening components. This service can refresh the appearance of existing furniture while extending its useful life.
* Please note that these services are not performed on-site. All furniture must be transported to our manufacturing facility, where repairs are completed by our experienced team.
